POBO Is Looking for Its First Community Builder.
Not a social media manager. Not a content creator. A community builder — someone who understands that trust is built in conversations, not campaigns, and that the first 1,000 people who believe in something are more valuable than the next 10,000 who are merely aware of it.
What POBO Does?
POBO is a collective buying platform for homebuyers. We aggregate verified buyer intent, form collectives of serious buyers, and negotiate directly with developers as a unified bloc — at institutional terms. We charge developers a flat, publicly stated 1%. We charge buyers nothing. Ever.
We are forming our founding collectives across NCR right now. We need someone who can make that negotiation real.
What Will You Own?
Your one job in the first three months is to get POBO to 1,000 registered members and 100 paid founding members. Everything else is secondary to that.
To get there, you will own everything that touches inbound awareness and community warmth. LinkedIn content that tells POBO's story honestly and compellingly — no fake numbers, no manufactured urgency, just a mission worth sharing. WhatsApp communities for registered members that feel like a group of people who are genuinely on the same side, not a broadcast channel. Lead generation campaigns on LinkedIn and Google that reach the NCR premium homebuyer — typically 35 to 55 years old, household income ₹30 lakh and above, actively considering a ₹2–8 crore purchase. The intent registration funnel — making sure every person who lands on the site has a clear, frictionless path to registering their buying intent. Weekly member communications that keep registered members warm and informed between collective activations.
You will also be the person who notices when something isn't working and says so — clearly, without waiting to be asked.
What You Must Have
Strong LinkedIn content creation ability — not just writing, but understanding what makes a professional audience stop scrolling and share something. Experience managing WhatsApp or Telegram communities at scale — not just creating a group, but keeping it alive and valuable for members. Working knowledge of digital marketing execution — running lead campaigns, tracking funnel conversion, understanding what a cost-per-registered-member means and how to bring it down. Two to four years of experience, ideally in a consumer fintech, real estate platform, or any trust-first product where the sale is high-value and the buyer is cautious.
You do not need to have worked in real estate before. You need to understand how to speak to someone who is about to make the biggest financial decision of their life — with honesty, not hype.
One Specific Thing
POBO has a strict no-fake-numbers policy. We do not publish testimonials we cannot verify, stats we cannot defend, or urgency we did not create. If your instinct in a tight month is to exaggerate the traction, this is not the right environment. If your instinct is to find the honest story and tell it better, you will thrive here.
What We Offer
₹25,000–35,000 per month. Ownership of the entire member acquisition function. Direct access to the founder and the ability to shape how POBO communicates from Day 1. ESOP consideration for the right candidate. This is a role where your work will be visible immediately — member numbers either grow or they don't, and you will own that number.
